MONDO CANE stages and documents a variety of strange customs from casual bullfighting in Portugal to limbless shark hunters of the Pacific gaining their revenge by stuffing deadly sea urchins into the mouths of captured sharks, to an upmarket weird food restaurant to leg cutting ceremonies in Italy and years ahead of it’s time: an all female gym in America. While things got a lot weirder in it’s wake nothing since looks and sounds as good as MONDO CANE.
